Tell us your favourite stand out scent

We’re just about to hit our 2 month milestone here at Adora and we’re so incredibly chuffed to know that so many of our customers love our scents! 

We’ve spent the last 12 months curating and crafting our cleaning refills and to hear that they are so well loved makes our day. We had a number of cleaning scent concoctions made during the development process and we’ll take you along on our journey as we develop new and exciting cleaning refills for your gorgeous homes. 

But today, we want to know. What’s your favourite stand out scent? 

Is it our Sandalmist scent? With notes of violet, leather and sandalwood. 
Could it be Everleaf? A bright and fresh scent made of lemon, white tea and musk.
Or is Driftwood your fave? Our sophisticated scent that brings bergamot, clove and sandalwood into your spaces?

Or have we missed a trick? What notes do you think we should be including? I know for one I’d be looking more for a mandarin or scents of amber in my home, so stay tuned for further developments.

We’re over the moon to see so many of you really buying into Adora, last weekend saw us hit our first major milestone as a business and we’re so proud and grateful for your support.  Adora is now in over 1,000 homes. Which is so surreal to us. When we started we wanted to create a more beautiful sustainable cleaning brand, one which gave back more than it took.  We’ll forever be working on improving Adora but to know you guys love what we’re doing too is such an inspiration boost. So thank you! Yes we’re aesthetically pleasing but we’re also sustainably cleaning too so here’s the numbers when it comes to giving back to our planet through a cleaner, greener approach:Plastic bottles savedThe average UK household is expected to use 1-2 plastic cleaning bottles per month (let’s say it’s 1, for simplicity sake) that’s 12 plastic bottles used each year. So for those 1,000 home starter kit subscribers, each box saves them ever needing to buy another plastic bottle. Meaning we’ve saved 12,000 plastic bottles so far 🎉🎉Carbon offsetThe benefit of saving on plastic bottles is that it reduces the need to create, ship and transport those bottles too. Here’s the math:A typical spray bottle with its trigger weighs about 50–75 grams of plastic. So if the average UK household gets through around 12 plastic cleaning bottles a year, that adds up quickly in carbon terms. Producing one kilogram of plastic creates roughly 2.6 kilograms of CO₂ emissions, so each bottle works out at about 0.13–0.20 kg CO₂. Multiply that by 12 bottles, and a single household is responsible for around 1.5–2.5 kg of CO₂ emissions every year just from the plastic in cleaning bottles alone.Taking the average here (2kg of CO₂) we’ve saved 2,000kg or 2.2 tonnes in CO₂ emmissions. 🌳🌳 Refill to ReforestAnd as you all know we plant one tree for each refill pack and home starter kit we send out so maths we can all do incoming:We’ve planted 1,000+ trees so far this year. 🍃🍃🍃Still growingWe launched Adora officially on 20th August meaning we’re 41 days old, so this is just the beginning for us. Hopefully it won’t be long until we’re telling you we’ve reached our next major milestone!

Could you let me know what cleaning ingredients are actually in the fragrance vials please? I’ve got a really bad allergic reaction to certain cleaning products so would prefer to know what I’m buying before parting with money for something I may not be able to use .
